With low ground speed the MP348 brush mulcher will efficiently cut heavy vegetation and light brush using high speed teeth. The concave shaped carbide tip provides aggressive brush mulching action by chipping the brush bit by bit. Part of the secret of their performance is the ease of rotating the teeth so there is always a sharp edge to make mulching easier. The spiral tooth pattern helps in one tooth at a time for smooth mulching. The direct drive of a brush mulcher on the PTO of a tractor is the most efficient way to run a brush mulcher and if you check our brush cutting size charts you will see that the slower you can travel the bigger material you can handle. A heavy duty reinforced belt delivers the force from the gear box to the rotor. Heavy duty gearbox for high performance and better mulching power and long life. To protect the gearbox and drive system, Baumalight PTO Mulchers come with a slip clutch, which automatically disengages the clutch at a predetermined torque. If a fence wire is caught during the mulching process , it can damage the unit by slipping over to the edge of the rotor and get wrapped on the shaft, so wire protection kit is provided to safeguard the rotor and the shaft. The MS348 small tractor mounted brush mulcher as a rotor diameter of 15 inches(tool tips), rotor width of 48 inches and a path width of 60 inches.
